1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the REALdegrees website and services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

REALdegrees provides transcript analysis reports that evaluate the AI-resistance of your academic coursework. Reports are generated by a team of university professors who cross-reference your courses against publicly available syllabi and assessment methodologies.

3. Data Consent & Transcript Usage

By uploading your transcript and proceeding to payment, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You are the rightful owner of the uploaded transcript or are authorized to share it, and the information you have provided is accurate.
• You consent to REALdegrees storing, processing, and analyzing your transcript data for the purpose of generating a transcript analysis report.
• Your verification code may be shared with third parties (e.g., employers) at your discretion, allowing them to view your report details and download your completed report.
• REALdegrees does not independently verify or authenticate the contents of your transcript. The analysis is provided for informational purposes only.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. REALdegrees makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any analysis. In no event shall REALdegrees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. REALdegrees' total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

5. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless REALdegrees, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) the accuracy or authenticity of any documents you upload; or (d) any third party's reliance on information provided through the Service.

6. Data Handling & Privacy

Your transcript data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@realdegrees.ai. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable Texas law.

7. No Professional Advice

The transcript analysis report does not constitute academic, legal, or professional advice. Decisions made by employers, educational institutions, or any third party based on the report are outside the control and responsibility of REALdegrees.

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from your use of the Service shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. You agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration in the State of Texas, and you waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit.

9. Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

10. Trademarks

REALdegrees™ is a trademark of REALdegrees, LLC. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. You may not use the REALdegrees™ name, logo, or any related marks without prior written permission from REALdegrees, LLC.
